Bassetfest requires many volunteers to make this 2 day event run smoothly. Your consideration to volunteer is greatly appreciated! We will make every attempt to place you in your requested volunteer category, however please keep in mind that due to the number of volunteers, this may not always be possible. Basset Hounds Attending (if any)

To help maintain a safe and healthy environment for your dog, the following requirements apply:

Must be current on three vaccinations: Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella
Must be social and appropriate with other dogs and strangers
Must be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age
Please use good judgement regarding attendance of potentially aggressive dogs
Unfortunately we are unable to include non-basset hounds. Attendees must be at least part Basset.

NOTE: ALL BASSETFEST PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN THE FOLLOWING WAIVER OF LIABILITY ONSITE AT BASSETFEST. PLEASE READ AHEAD OF TIME.

In consideration of my signing this agreement, I hereby, for myself, my heirs and administrators assume all risks associated with "BassetFest." I waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages which I may have against the organizers, Basset Buddies Rescue, Inc., and any others connected with this event, their representatives, successors, and assigns for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by me or my pet(s) as a result of taking part in "BassetFest" and related activities. All pictures and stories taken by or given to Basset Buddies Rescue, inc. (BBR) at the BassetFest event are the properties of BBR. BBR reserves the right to use and/or publish these stories and pictures at any time they choose.
